Online Therapy for Panic Attacks
When your body feels like it’s hitting the alarm bell—and you don’t even know why.
A panic attack can feel like it comes out of nowhere. One minute you’re going about your day, and the next, your heart is racing, your chest feels tight, and your mind is shouting: “Something is really wrong.” Maybe you’ve even ended up in the ER, only to be told “everything looks fine.” But it doesn’t feel fine.
Panic attacks are intense, physical, and terrifying—and often misunderstood. They can leave you feeling shaky, drained, and afraid of having another one. That fear alone can start running the show, leading to avoidance, hypervigilance, or a nagging sense of “what if it happens again?”
Here’s what I want you to know: panic attacks are treatable. They may be loud, but they don’t have to be in charge.
In therapy, we’ll gently slow things down and get curious about your body’s stress response. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and nervous system education to help you understand what’s happening internally and how to ride the wave without fear taking over. You’ll learn how to work with your body—not against it—and practice tools that help regulate those big, overwhelming moments.
Panic attacks are your body’s way of trying to protect you—but they’re responding to a false alarm. We’ll retrain your system, reduce your sensitivity to triggers, and rebuild your confidence.
You don’t have to live on edge. Online therapy makes it easy to start this work from a space that feels safe—whether you’re in Greensboro, Elon, Winston-Salem, or anywhere in North Carolina.
